Dr. Scott Anderson, the founder of Anderson Psychological Services, is a licensed psychologist practicing in Alberta and Ontario. Dedicated to enhancing resilience and mental well-being in individuals working high-risk occupations, Scott also specializes in optimizing performance and mental health for athletes and adults. With extensive experience across all levels of mental health care, Scott is committed to delivering top-tier psychological assessment and psychotherapy services, alongside his fervent interest in the transformative potential of neurofeedback for mental health treatment.

Known for his solution-focused, respectful, compassionate, and direct approach, Scott has worked extensively with diverse high-stress professions, including police officers, firefighters, paramedics, military personnel, veterans, and correctional officers. Furthermore, he boasts a rich background in various performance domains, from basketball, baseball, rowing, soccer, golf, and jiu-jitsu. 


Scott's expertise in trauma treatment is rooted in extensive training and enriched by seminal works like "The Body Keeps the Score." Drawing from this influential book and other cutting-edge research, Scott employs a holistic approach that recognizes the interconnectedness of mind and body in trauma recovery. His therapeutic interventions are tailored to address not only psychological symptoms but also somatic experiences, using a combination of cognitive and body-based techniques that foster healing and resilience in his clients.

Outside his professional pursuits, Scott enjoys travelling, indulging in sports like golf and basketball, and discovering culinary delights in and around Calgary, Alberta.
